One of my favourite things about being a bookstagramer has always been the book mail. There is nothing like putting in the order for books, receiving the notification that its shipped, then actually getting your hands on the box of books.
Little did I know that it would pale in comparison to receiving book inventory for your very own bookstore! Placing the order for books; knowing the excitement it will bring to you as a bookstore owner and your customers. Getting the email letting you know your order is on its way; excessively checking the tracking progress sooooo many times throughout the day. Pulling up to your house and seeing that beautiful brown box on your doorstep; visualizing the giddiness on your customers faces when they receive their boxes. Unpacking the contents of said box with a level of awe; the sparkling covers, the collectors editions, the underlining want to keep every single book. LOL
Needless to say, I think I went through an emotionally, beautiful process today when I received the first inventory box for Dedicated Reader's Bookstore!
Some of the new books have a history of being BookTok famous, some of these authors have written some of my 5 star reads, and there are books in these stacks that I am looking forward to reading!
By Monday (April 8, 2024) these books will all be added to the online inventory and ready for purchasing! Thank you every for your love and support!
